FOUNDER'S BIO!
As a child I was very close to God and received mentoring from Catholic nuns who taught me worship, love, reverence and adoration of the Lord Jesus Christ. I admired their passion for Christ and even nursed the idea of joining them but God had a different plan for my life.
Relationship With Christ: At a young & tender age and stage in my life, I had the great blessing and option of being able to accept the Lord into my life and the grace of being invited into a personal relationship with Him. I am a born again Christian.
Passion For God & Role Models: My first love is for Jesus Christ and my role models are Mary the Mother of Christ, Mary Magdalene and women like Deborah, Esther and Ruth who were called out for such a time as theirs to save lives and impact the world on a grand scale.
Passion For Children: My second passion is children and my love for them motivated me as a young adult to work as a teacher, teaching children from ages 8-11. This same passion motivated me to study sociology and child psychology at the university. Since my teenager years I had been bringing home troubled children including younger people in difficulty and need of prayer, practical help or encouragement. That effort planted a longing in my heart to look out for young people in crisis.
Passion For My PRECIOUS SISTERS: Every woman, rich or poor, healthy or sick, happy or sad need a friend. A caring person with whom to share this journey through with life as a listener or confidant. I believe as women we owe each other that support and should be prepared to stand in the gap for one another through times of hardship, testing, bereavement, divorce or separation, children’s dilemma, joblessness, brokenness, hurt and at moments when we have to walk through the storms of life. We need not be alone! So I delight in being motivated to risk rejection by reaching out to my sisters.
Prayer Relationship: Prayer has always been an important part of my life. I consider myself a humble, down to earth prayer person and have prayed with passion since I was a child, a habit that grew with age and time over the years, especially during my sickness which lasted for 15years.
My Healing Testimony: I can testify that I am a living proof that God heals and still perform miracles even today.
Over three years ago the miraculous healing I received at the early hours of the 9th of April, 2005 was no ordinary event. For over 15 years I had been suffering from Spondilolisthesis, a crippling back disease which had left me unable to walk without support, confined to a wheelchair and dependent on crutches.
I relied on getting help in order to stand up,sit,bathe or dress. Not only did I endure pain and difficulty with my lower back but I was also suffering from endometriosis (a painful disease of the womb) and the complications of pelvic and abdominal adhesions.
Early that morning, I heard a voice commanding me to get up and walk and in faith I obeyed. What followed was a miracle and I have never looked back. My healing story was reported in the December 2005 issue of the British Direction Magazine and in other international publications.
Since my healing, I have been busy using my new found zeal to motivate women, children and widows all over the world through the publication of my books and journals and through healing revivals, teaching, Prayer intercessions, workshops, seminars, conferences, talks, mentoring.
By the Grace of God since my healing with the help of my family and friends we have been able to birth so many initiatives including the JHM Global, Precious Woman Project, Precious Woman Magazine, Avenue-One Magazine and other initiatives.
About My Family & I: I am Black-British and I was born in London to a journalist & Nurse-Midwife parents. I am married to Joseph who is my soul mate, mission partner and best friend and we have four wonderful children who are all serving in the ministry.
